  • Compact Disc (CD) + Digital Album

A physical CD copy of The El Caminos Code Red, which can be ripped directly into your computer and into your hiss-filled, ringing eardrums. Play it in the car. Which speaker will the audio come from? Who knows! The surprise is half the fun. The other half of the fun is trying to make out the parts where the audio cuts out! Comes in a hand-sharpie'd CDR and skinny jewel case, the next best thing to an obsolete cassette. Includes download, including MP3 and FLAC, making this entire transaction completely fucking redundant! Custom wording on the CDR is also available.

Includes unlimited streaming of Code Red via the free Bandcamp app, plus high-quality download in MP3, FLAC and more.
    ships out within 5 days
    edition of 40
    Purchasable with gift card

      $10 USD or more

  • Cassette + Digital Album

An authentic reproduction of the last remaining original, which will have a custom printed art insert made to look just like the stained original Master Copy and dubbed from MP3 right back onto a Maxell cassette, making my entire life seem worth very little. This is kind of like when you buy those guitars from Eddie Van Halen that he beats up to make look like the original, except with far less talent, effort or relevance to anything at all. At $20, it costs 10x what the original cost, and also 10x what the digital download costs.

Includes unlimited streaming of Code Red via the free Bandcamp app, plus high-quality download in MP3, FLAC and more.
    ships out within 14 days
    edition of 10

about

A collection of real prank phone calls made by Milwaukee, WI area high school kids in the mid-90s. Inspired by The Jerky Boys, The El Caminos sold over 100 copies in 2 weeks at $2/copy and then got sick of dubbing copies of tapes, which was very tedious and time consuming. Over 20 years later, here are the mono tape rips straight from the final remaining known copy of the El Caminos cassette, Code Red. At just $2 for the entire download, it remains a bargain 20 years later.

about

The El Caminos Milwaukee, Wisconsin

The El Caminos tape was recorded between 1996-1997 in the North Shore Suburbs of Milwaukee. The calls are all spontaneous, unrehearsed, and real. After 20 years, they are finally available in digital format, sounding just as crappy now as they did then. Enjoy the faux confidence and terrible Wisconsin accents within from this group of virgins who had never even tasted beer, pussy, or weed. Cheers! ... more
